Rhett McClure was born in 1976 and raised on a farm near Wahoo, Nebraska. After graduating from Wahoo Public High School, he attended the University of Nebraska with the support of the Darryl F. Zanuck memorial scholarship. Rhett graduated from UNL in 1999 with a Journalism degree for both advertising and broadcasting. He gained six years of valuable experience shooting and editing commercials for Time Warner Cable as both video producer and webmaster. Snitily Carr Advertising hired him away in 2005 to produce TV and web campaigns for Nebraska Tourism, Nebraska Department of Agriculture, and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. In his spare time he has shot several short films, helped edit the Lew Hunter story screenwriting documentary, and posts regularly on the "Film in Nebraska" tax incentives social networking website. He has served as president and public relations chair of Nebraska Independent Film Projects, an independent film advocacy nonprofit (www.NIFP.org). Rhett holds respect for the Zanuck film legacy and is proud to be part of a new generation of filmmakers from Wahoo, partnering with Jake Hull and AB Productions. The team has a deal to produce three feature films to be shot on revolutionary RED ONE digital cameras, with McClure as Director of Photography.
